Of course! Authorities are sorta like these world rule-bending powers which go against any "natural" form of power seen in Re:Zero's world (Magic and spiritual arts, curses, Divine Protections, martial arts, miscellaneous abilities, etc.). They're manifested according to a person's desire(s), so each person would receive a different power according to their inclinations.
For some examples of Authorities in the first two seasons:
-Subaru's Authority allows him to die and return to a "checkpoint" prior to his death.
-Petelgeuse's Authority of Sloth creates hands invisible to the naked eye for everyone but himself, and later Subaru for unknown reasons.
-Lye's Authority of Gluttony can "devour" people, literally erasing any memories of a person in the world, Subaru being the only exception.
-Regulus's Authority of Greed seems to give him some form of immense destructive power and near invincibility.
-Pandora's Authority of Vainglory allows her to manipulate phenomena, so she can rewrite events to an extent as she pleases.
-Hector's Authority of Melancholy had some sort of gravitational manipulation going for it.
These examples should convey that Authorities make the "impossible" become "possible". They do things that normally can't be done in the world, and the scope of their unique capabilities is greater than your average "normal" ability/technique.
