Cragrell Dawson (クラグレル・ドーソン) was one of the three leaders of the Demi-Human Alliance during the Demi-Human War.[1] After the Demi-Human Alliance fell and the fighting ended, he was the representative who met with Gionis Lugunica and signed the treaty that officially concluded the war.
Appearance[]
Cragrell belonged to a subspecies of lizard humans. He was an elderly man who had green scales, a yellow crest on his head, three-fingered hands, and a long tongue that often darted in and out of his thick lips. At a glance, he looked similar to a frog human or a lizard human, but his eyes were more similar to a fish's than a reptile's. He also had the capability to keep objects in his stomach.
Personality[]
Cragrell was a self-deprecating man who described himself as feeble and stubborn. He cared deeply about his comrades and assisted others who shared his feelings.
History[]
As one of the leaders of the Demi-Human Alliance, Cragrell was an intermediary between Valga Cromwell and Libre Fermi. He did not take part in combat and merely watched as Valga brought Sphinx into the Alliance and became its backbone, having Shamrock Valley cleared out for her plans. A couple of years later, following Libre's death at Aihiya Swamp, Valga and Sphinx's apparent deaths at the Royal Catle, and the rise of the Sword Saint, Theresia van Astrea, negotiations with the Kingdom finally ensued. In due course, Cragrell agreed to end the war peacefully.
Following the war's end, Cragrell was conferred a rank of nobility for his contributions to ending the war and granted a mansion in the Royal Capital. His mansion was kept strictly guarded to prevent him from being murdered and having his death reignite the flames of war. When Stride Vollachia began his attacks in Lugunica, Theresia van Astrea, visited him to request his cooperation, and the two of them had a conversation about the Demi-Human War and the past. It ultimately ended with Cragrell agreeing to cooperate with Theresia and the Kingdom.
Because Cragrell was already at an advanced age four decades before the beginning of the main story, it is presumed that he is deceased in the present.
