Ghajit (ガジート) was a gladiator at the Gladiator Island Ginunhive. He sought to escape the island by participating in Ubilk's rebellion and later assisting in quelling it, but he was ultimately unsuccessful.

Appearance[]

Ghajit was a man with a distinct hairstyle that was shaved on the left side of his head and long on the right side. In addition, he wore a black outfit.

Personality[]

Ghajit desired to escape the Gladiator Island through any means necessary, though this made him prone to being influenced by others. He was wiling to feign acting nice to Priscilla, yet he was not above pointing his blade at her. Once he realized that he was played by Ubilk and used as a pawn in a greater scheme, Ghajit grew increasingly panicked and violent.

Throughout the island's uprising, Ghajit acted as an arbiter of sorts between the captives and his fellow rebelling gladiators, but he lacked the courage to act as a leader when Ubilk was present. He was also acquainted with Al and thought of him as an idiot for failing to join Hornet's side. By the time he and Al duelled, Ghajit accepted that everyone at Ginunhive, including him, would be gladiators until they died.

History[]

Ghajit was among the many gladiators who were cajoled by Ubilk to participate in an uprising at the Gladiator Island. When the insurrection began, Ghajit was in the group who searched for Serena Dracroy amidst the spectators. He and his comrades took Priscilla Pendleton—who claimed to be Serena—and her husband, Jorah, to the murdered island owner's room, where Ubilk was waiting for them. Priscilla relayed that the mutiny was futile because the Nine Divine Generals would be dispatched to swiftly end it, instilling doubt in Ghajit and causing him to question Ubilk about the claim's truth.

A short time afterwards, Priscilla convinced Ghajit and the gladiators alongside him to turn against the other revolting gladiators. Both he and Balleroy came to rescue her when she was confined. He began to panic upon realizing that he was used as a pawn by Ubilk, and when Priscilla said that he was easy to manipulate, he pointed his saber at her neck until Miles arrived and subdued him with a chunk of debris, putting him out of commission for the rest of the coup. After the mutiny ended, Al fought Ghajit in a match and skewered him with an attack to the stomach, ending his life.[1]

Abilities[]

Equipment: Ghajit wielded a saber that he was well-acquainted with using. It was his weapon of choice during deathmatches and the Ginunhive uprising.
