Patrasche (パトラッシュ) is Subaru's earth dragon that he officially received from Crusch Karsten for his efforts in the Hakugei battle.
Appearance[]
Patrasche is a black earth dragon of the Diana species.
Personality[]
Despite being of a species known for being feisty, Patrasche is extremely loyal to Subaru, as she is willing to put her life on the line to serve him, such as when she sacrificed herself to save Subaru from Satella's shadows at the Pleiades Watchtower. Patrasche is also much more intelligent and perceptive than one would expect.
History[]
When Subaru was preparing for the battle against the Hakugei, he had to choose an earth dragon for the fight. To Crusch's surprise, he chose Patrasche. After the battle against the Hakugei, Crusch allowed Subaru to keep Patrasche.
Abilities[]
Divine Protection (加護 Kago): As an earth dragon, Patrasche has the Divine Protection of Wind Evasion (風避けの加護 Kazeyoke no Kago), which enables her to be unaffected by the wind and not encounter any wind resistance while running. The effect also applies to any dragon carriage that she pulls. After activation, there is a cooldown before she can use it again.

- According to the author, Patrasche's birthday is April 15.
- Patrasche's name is a reference to the dog from A Dog of Flanders.[1]
- In Arc 6, Volcanica seems to be acquainted with Patrasche.
