The Witch of Reunion (再会の魔女) is the second episode of the Re:Zero anime.
Plot
Natsuki Subaru goes back to the save point where he meets the Kadomon. He cried and searched for Satella, the girl that was with him in his previous life before they died.
As he approached the girl, he shouted her name to which she became angry and gave him a disgraceful look. She told him that mentioning the name or even comparing her to the Witch of Jealosy, was uncalled for and disgusting. When Felt came and stole her insignia, Emilia accused him of being an accomplice but he denied her accusations.
He died by a knife again when the trio came to stop and steal his stuff.
As he return to his previous checkpoint for the fourth time, he discovered that he had a power to rebirth and he named it "Return by Death". Anytime he dies, he goes back to his previous checkpoint.
Subaru does not want to remember the past in his previous death. However, when a tomato being crash by the wheel of the wagon, something triggered his memory. He remembered Satella who help him from the robbers even though they don't know each others nor told her real name. He ran away and ask Kadomon if something just happen before like robbing a beautiful girl in the street.
