The twelfth volume of the Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu series. It is the 3rd volume of Arc 4, The Everlasting Contract.

Summary[]

In the Sanctuary, which develops differently from memory each time it is repeated, Subaru finally has a chance encounter with the Witch of Envy, an existence that should never have appeared. A village engulfed by shadows, the help of Garfiel, who is supposed to be his enemy, and the truth about the Sanctuary that was called a testing ground. -The truth of the Sanctuary, which was called an experimental site, and the demon who scoffs at Subaru's resolve in a world that is coming to a white end. Betrayed by hope, despairing for the truth, and still unable to give up on the future, Subaru goes to the cemetery in search of a reunion with the Witch. There, Subaru comes face to face with witnessing the unthinkable present.
