Family[]

Lye Batenkaitos[]

Despite the two being brothers, Roy doesn’t seem to necessarily care about Lye. In fact, he was often chastised by his brother for his way of thinking regarding food. Even after learning of Lye's death, Roy seemed indifferent about it.

Rui Arneb[]

Roy first met Rui after she took over Lye’s body. Though Roy seems to respect his sister and offer various meals to her, he doesn’t seem to be as attached and protective of her as his brother. What he thinks about his sister’s current predicament is unknown.

Witch Cult[]

Mother[]

As one of her “children,” Roy listens to her orders. In Priestella, Roy was the only Sin Archbishop to team up with his fellow Archbishops, acting as one of the obstacles towards reaching her. Despite this, though he is willing to do as she demands from him, he does not seem to bear complete loyalty toward her. When given the option to sate his palate with someone he has taken an interest in, he will prioritize his appetite over Capella's orders. The two are fully aware that they are using each other, but neither one seems to mind.

Anastasia Camp[]

Julius Juukulius[]

Having accessed the name and memories of his brother, Roy knows Julius very well, channeling the emotions of his brother. In Arc 5, Roy and Julius encountered each other twice, once on top of the City Hall building and once at the second control tower. In both clashes, he showed this overfamiliarity with Julius, leaving him unnerved throughout the arc. In the end, Roy devoured Julius’s name and erased his existence from the world.

Later, after the soul of Reid Astrea, who had taken over his body, was defeated, Julius was the one to seal Roy after his body was left on the verge of death. He has yet to cough up Julius’s name.

Joshua Juukulius[]

Despite not being the one to devour his name and memories, Roy was the one to use his memories by pulling them from the Stomach of Souls.

Ricardo Welkin[]

Due to having eaten Joshua’s name and memories, he is very familiar with Ricardo, showing signs of respect as Joshua did. However, he also often called him a dog or mutt, claiming not caring much for such appetizers. During their fight, Roy managed to sever Ricardo’s arm.

Emilia Camp[]

Natsuki Subaru[]

Initially, Subaru’s hatred for Roy was very one-sided, as Subaru mistook Roy for the one to devour Rem’s name and memories. Later, when Rui was after Subaru’s body, he was given the same memories of Subaru that Rui had eaten, as implied by Reid’s disgust towards the boy after he took over Roy’s body and proceeded to attack the Pleiades Watchtower as per his sister’s orders to take care of him.

Otto Suwen[]

After Otto was defeated by Al's group, when Roy set himself to devour him, he found it funny that neither of his siblings managed to get their hands on him while he did. After devouring his memories, he was impressed by what he had learned of his life, and he was likewise impressed how Otto had a backup plan in case of his own defeat that caught them off guard.

Ram[]

Likely due to the memories that he obtained through various members of the Emilia Camp that he had, Roy knew quite a bit about Ram, including her infatuation with Roswaal, and even attempted to eat her name, though he failed.

Petra Leyte[]

After learning that Petra had willingly taken on an Authority, he was thoroughly ecstatic over it, and his interest in Petra skyrocketed to the point that he wanted to prioritize devouring her over taking the Witch Factor that Capella wanted. Throughout the battle, he continued being shocked with how Petra abused her Authority, causing his elation with her to grow, and when she claimed how she was handling the Witch Factor's compensation for use, Roy acknowledged her as a true Witch.

Priscilla Camp[]

Al[]

In Arc 9, Al helped Roy escape confinement, giving him the ultimatum of obeying so he wouldn't kill Roy. This resulted in the two clashing and Al, despite dying so many times, thrashing him and binding him with an oath bound curse mark. Al clearly despises the young Sin Archbishop, and if not for his being necessary for his plan to succeed, he would gladly have thrown him off of the Great Waterfall. On the other hand, while Roy was aware of Al through the memories that he'd eaten, he did not seem to care, and he enjoyed teasing and poking fun at him. When he got a chance, despite going along with his plans, he was willing to plot against him, taking advantage of his mindset and the loosened conditions of his curse mark to do as he wished.

Felt Camp[]

Felt[]

Despite being enemies, Roy was willing to make an agreement with Felt for her to fake her memory loss in order to deceive Al. He also seems to be under the impression that Felt truly is the missing princess Filore and that she believes so as well. Despite this, he also had insurance in place in the form of the Black Serpent in the case that she lets up with the act. Even after she betrayed his expectations, Roy remained elated, and his excitement and gratitude towards her actions excited him, even as she apparently led his enemies.

Others[]

Reid Astrea[]

Roy met Reid during the raid on the Pleiades Watchtower. Believing that Reid would be an exquisite dish, he attacked the first Sword Saint and was promptly defeated and brutalized. Soon after, Reid would allow him to devour him, allowing Reid to take over his body since it was too big for Roy to handle. Thanks to this and Reid’s “defeat,” Roy was left on the verge of death and sealed. Despite this, ever since he devoured Reid, his view on his meals has become more refined.
