  • 'Three' seems to be the magic number of Gluttony. There are three Great Witchfiends created by Daphne:¬†Hakugei, Oousagi, Kurohebi. They are based on the constellations 'Whale' 'Rabbit' and 'Sea snake'.

And so are the archbishops of Gluttony, Ley Batenkaitos (Whale, gourmet), Roy Alphard (Snake, bizzare-eating), and Louis Arneb (Rabbit, satiation).

Why are there three of the archbishops? I understand they each represent different aspects of Gluttony, but there should (maybe not) be only one Witch Gene of Gluttony. So like with the White Whale, can the Archbishops clone each other?

If this is true (I think I saw Angelo mention this theory somewhere) then Louis might be the 'main' as he is the only one not seen fighting and how he had taken over Rey's body.

    • Well because of the Deadly Sin Gluttony excsists in multiple aspects, like Gourmet, Satiation and Bizarre-Eating.

" If this is true (I think I saw Angelo mention this theory somewhere) then Louis might be the 'main' as he is the only one not seen fighting and how he had taken over Rey's body. " It's a common theory that Louis is the actual Sin Archbishop and that Roy and Ley are his clones.

Also, the three demon Beasts, Snake, Whale and Rabit are the constellations Alphard, Batenkaitos and Arneb.

Alphard, Baten Kaitos and Arneb are not the constellations, they are the brightest stars in each of the constellations (Alphard in 'Sea Snake', Baten Kaitos in 'Whale' and Aneb in 'Rabbit')
