Null (ヌル), commonly known as Old Man Null (ヌル爺さん), is a healer who previously resided at Gladiator Island Ginunhive for many years. He later became a member of the Pleiades Battalion.
外貌[]
Null is an elderly man with a thin and wrinkly body. He has protruding white hair near his ears, and a circular symbol above his right ear, and an elongated head. He wears a light vest and a long scarf wrapped around his neck.
性格[]
Prior to leaving Ginunhive, Null often cooped himself up in the island's healing room, where he had the free time to occasionally doze off when he wasn't working. He also dislikes when others use his medicine for harm, befitting his position as a healer.
History[]
Many years ago, Null was sent to Gladiator Island Ginunhive for unknown reasons at a time when the island was much more deadly. One day, his life would change when he put a cloth over the wound of a gladiator who lost their arm.[1] This would lead to more instances where he would be called to heal people. Null was consequently ordered to work as a healer in Ginunhive's healing room, and he would become more acquainted with bloody scenes over the years.
While Null lived peacefully as a healer, a gladiator would escape the Gladiator Island and the Chief at that time was promptly fired. To fill up the new position, Emperor Vincent Vollachia would appoint Gustav Morello as the new Island Chief. Under Gustav's leadership, the Gladiator Island would be remade from its previous lawlessness into a more orderly place where there were less unnecessary deaths. As a result, the number of people who died from injuries or illnesses decreased, which had the side effect of giving Null less work.

Amateur Healing Skills: Although Null was formerly a healer at Ginunhive, he lacks the skills to properly treat other people, effectively making him a healer in name. Null can stitch wounds and concoct simple medicinal drugs. However, because he was not allowed to use effective drugs by the Gladiator Island's administrators, he couldn't create anything more than adverse concoctions, such as the poison he made for Subaru.
